Kaohsiung American School (KAS) has one full-time Guidance Counselor who is responsible for the academic and personal counseling for students PK-12. However, the majority of this person's time is utilized with high school students and the college admissions process. The counselor is available for individual and group appointments with students and parents concerning all aspects of personal, social, academic, and career development. Emphasis is placed upon individual and group meetings with students and parents discussing the matching of individual student interests with college and university offerings and programs.
